At Al Khair Desi Ghee, we take great care in preparing and delivering every jar of pure desi ghee. Your satisfaction matters to us. This Refund and Returns Policy explains when you can request a replacement or refund for orders placed on alkhairdesighee.com.

1. Returns Policy

  • Due to the perishable and consumable nature of food items (pure desi ghee), we do not accept returns on opened jars for safety and hygiene reasons.
  • Returns are only considered for unopened jars that arrive damaged or incorrect, as described in this policy.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged jar or an incorrect item, please follow these steps:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery via WhatsApp or email.
  • Share your order number along with clear photo evidence of the damaged jar, the incorrect item, and the outer packaging.
  • Our team will review your request and offer a replacement or refund assessment.

3. Order Cancellations

  • Order cancellations must be requested before the shipment has been dispatched.
  • Once an order has been dispatched to the courier, it cannot be cancelled.

4. Refund Process

  • Once your request is approved, we will provide either a replacement jar or a refund, depending on the case and stock availability.
  • Refunds for prepaid orders will be returned through the same direct bank transfer method used for payment.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, approved refunds will be sent to a bank account or mobile wallet provided by you.

5. Non-Eligible Cases

  • Opened or partially used jars.
  • Requests made after 24 hours of delivery.
  • Requests without photo evidence.
  • Natural variations in color, aroma, or granular texture (danedar consistency) of ghee, as these are normal characteristics of authentic desi ghee.
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided by the customer at checkout.
